residents we have compiled a list of Theatres, Arts, Entertainment
and some Community Events.
Muskoka High
Falls Heritage
Muskoka High Falls Heritage association has been formed to
try to stop a hydro electric expansion due to start at High
Falls in Bracebridge Muskoka.
Baysville
Riverfront Project
The Baysville Riverfront Project involved the beautification
of the shores of the Muskoka River in Baysville, and the construction
of docking to improve accessibility from the Lake of Bays.
The group has fundraising activities through the year, including
a Classic Boat Show, and the Arts & Crafts Festival, with
money raised going toward continuing construction and maintenance
of the project.The project has been mainly completed to date,
by volunteers and donation.

Tthe Muskoka Community Futures Development Corporation
operates throughout the Muskoka region as a community-based,
not-for-profit organization partnering with the District

Snowmobile Club
The Algonquin Snowmobile Club covers the Muskoka Snowmobile
Region from Dwight to Oxtongue to Huntsville and Dorset. Muskoka
snowmobiling at its best.
Hill
& Gully Snowmobile Club
The scenic trails of the Hill & Gully Riders Snowmobile
Club are situated in the rolling hill country of central Muskoka.
HGR boasts of 140 km trail system of well-maintained trails
from Trans-Ontario-Provincial (TOP) to secondary, groomed
daily by industrial size equipment, as well as trail signage
second to none.

Health Services
is a multifaceted organization that includes: the Huntsville
District Memorial Hospital, the Burk's Falls and District
Health Centre, the Muskoka - East Parry Sound Community Care
Access Centre, Fairvern Nursing Home and the Huntsville and
Burk's Falls Ambulance.

The Muskoka-Parry Sound Health Unit works with people and
their communities to be the healthiest they can be. To achieve
this, our health unit provides services to promote and support:
the reduction of disease, a healthy environment, healthy growth

The Huntsville Hospital Foundation is a registered charity
that financially supports health care in Muskoka and East
Parry Sound and is governed by the highest standards of stewardship
of its funds.

site pays tribute to the wonderful Bigwin Inn on Lake of Bays
that was once billed as the most luxurious and largest summer
resort in North America. Hopefully with enough support the
inn's buildings can be protected and preserved, which is what
this website is trying to promote.
